After a two month walkabout seeking answers to life�s biggest mysteries, my beloved cat Toulouse has returned!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Ross Goddard, a retired army officer and Vietnam veteran who lives just about a half mile from me. He spent over a week patiently trying to get close enough to Toulouse to read his tags. He finally succeeded and called us this morning with the fabulous news. I picked Toulouse up just about an hour ago, and aside from needing a good brushing, a good meal, and a trip to the vet for a check up, he�s fine and healthy.

I never could bring myself to get rid of his food and water bowls or his litter box, so everything is just as he left it...except, of course, for the arrival of Tag, who will not likely sleep this soundly again for a while. Notice the tongue.

Tag will have to learn his place quickly if he wants to keep his nose.

A cloud has been lifted, and this is a happy day, indeed.
