sounds like a noble endeavor. i haven't had any luck with Atlanta barbecue...but there are a few spots i'd like to track down, and would love to join you. i'm a HUGE (enthusiastic, not fat) coleslaw fan as well and can help you create a scale of measurement. let's talk about the important constructs to cole slaw perfection.

Oooo. You may have have to consult with Mr. Piper on how to scale the slaw. I'm a recent convert to the wiles of the slaw, so I will defer to your expertise. Robert H. and I are going every wednesday for lunch. You would be a welcome pundit on our panel of porkers.

Pig is big in Hawaii. Let me know if you make it down here. I've always wanted to find one of those places that dare you to eat an entire cow and give it to you free if you manage it.

Dean, I will definitely look you up if I ever get to Hawaii. My cousin's wife is Hawaiian (Luana Leialoha - go figure), and all her family still lives there. They had an old-fashioned luau for my cousin's kid on his 2nd birthday. Huge, huge party, whole pig on the spit and all that. I was sorry to miss it. Mmmm, pig.

Rolling Bones. Also, try Big O's Rib Shack in the hood. I think it's on Fort Street, but I'm too busy cocking my Glock when I'm down that way to pay attention to street signs. Slaw disgusts me, but I look forward to the meat reviews.

Thanks, smoove. We tried Hodges on Candler today. Review to follow. Haven't heard of Big O's, but will find it. I've done rolling bones and will go again for a complete review. Next up is "W. W. The Boss" on Glenwood.
