So, the kids started school again this past Monday, and things seem to be going pretty well so far. The paper trail has already begun.

My kids say the funniest things, especially the Boy. But he�s got a couple of buddies at school that leave me in stitches at least as much as he does with the stuff they come up with. One of the Boy�s friends from his first-grade class was spending the night with us last spring, and he happened to see a guy walking on the sidewalk in front of our house. He peers out the window suspiciously and says, �You got old man Wrigley comin� down your street too, huh? He used to come down ours with a square head shovel and bucket of salt.�

I thought better than to ask for details.

Then there was the kid in his kindergarten class two years ago who, when asked what he�d done over summer, replies without missing a beat, �I built a titanium worm hole.�

Yeah. Pretty much all we did was ride bikes and play in the creek behind the house. We�ll try to plan better next summer.
